Originally a Windows console game built for Programming Fundamentals: 2D arrays, eight-direction matching, three lives and file-based scores. This browser edition adds generated and daily puzzles, accessible selection, automatic resume and a visible search trace.
The original boards use only dictionary words actually present in permitted directions, so completion is achievable. Daily puzzles share a UTC date seed; results remain personal.
